Well, dont get me started on it!

H&M and Luxury, firstly, hah, what a non sence, one of the biggest mass productions will also offer LUXURY.. Secondly, it will not only offer luxury, it is will also lauch it!

YOU CANNOT LAUCH LUXURY!

Luxury evolves itself, over a period of time, it becomes something more of what already exists… It is like a talent.. it is there, you can develop it into something big, but you cannot just obtain it out of no where..

So, this rumor, and future H&M’s luxury line, is just another confirmation, that luxury fashion has died a long time ago, when the whole fashion was turned into one big business.. Anything, that costs a lot of money, and has a brand name on it is, today, considered a luxury, while it majorly is produced in China, with the lowerst possible cost, and sold to us 10 times more expensive, as a luxury. If this is what H&M plans to do.. then well, in terms of 2012, it will be a chinese, mass produced luxury, and another way to show how ‘special’ you are, to be able to pay the goods.

Think what luxury really is, and stop saying that someone can just launch it!

MUST HAVES???

Must have of a season.. Must have this weekend.. Must have 2012..

What is a must have, who has decided it is a must, and a must for whom? Every magazine publishes its must haves every month, every second fashion blogger posts his/her musts, every brand has its must, and all fashion addicts MUST MUST MUST have it all… or do we?

No, I disagree! Must haves of this kind are just a marketing tool, created to sell new goods, or
 the old ones, which went through some modifications.
When a company launches a new bag, perfume, nail polish, no matter how good or average it is, it has to sell good. For reasons, like high price, unusual shape, color, or ugliness of the product,  a group of marketing geniuses launches a whole program called “how to create a must have”. If you noticed, there was never a must have BMW, Rolex, or a diamond necklace. Must haves are usually affordable by everyone, but selling on a mass basis, it creative a big profit.
A company bombards celebrities with a product, makes pictures and publishes it, it negotiates articles with fashion magazines, who call a product a MUST have, they launch many commercials to influence our mind. Bloggers pick the gossip featuring a product on the web, and the fashion victims start wearing it, being further refeatured on a web. And boom, it is done, a new must have..
What a must have really used to be, before fashion industry got so about obsessed about profit, is really a set of basic things, which help to create a look, without which, you cannot imagine your wardrobe, and what everyone has/should have not because this though was put into our mind, but because it just makes sense!
Here we go, a real must have list, which is of course half individual, and half logical.
- A white, straight cut boyfriend shirt
- A basic white T-shirt, not too tights
- Black turtle neck tight to body sweater, cotton and cashmere
- Classy deep blue jeans, straight cut
- A little black dress
- Black smoking suit
- Black leather jacket
- Khaki or a beige trench
- A pencil skirt
- A black or creme silk top
- Black and beige flats or moccasins 
- Rider boots in black or brown
- White converse like sportswear
- Black evening heels
- Fancy clutch and a     chain middle size bag
With this list, you are pretty much a fashion forward one in any season, by picking up few seasonal hits to pump it up, you are dressed to impress.

You have definitely saw them in shops.. You saw them walking around the city.. Sorbet color palette, ice cream inspired, is as in as never,they are a hit of this march!

Miami pink, peach yogurt, swimming pool, pistachio, sky blue, lemon cake… Most common colors, very easy to mix, as everything just matches, very easy to wear, as it all looks good, it looks feminine and summerly!

Fashion statement.. How often have you heard it? Many times.. and do you know what exactly is it?

When you try to stand out of a crowd, and look very different, so that everyone else looks at you, it is a statement.. but not fashion..

When you wear only labebs, brands, latest collection and maybe even couture, it is fashion… But not a statement..

Fashion statement is a way to express your life believes, attitueds and world perception, through fashion.. Meaning, banal example, vegetarians wearing only fake fur and leather…

Fashion Statement can be expressed with a help of one item only, e.g.

 

 

 

 

 

Kalr Legerfeld and Anna Wintour wear sun galsses inside, at night, in publice to stress their VIP status and unavailability for the rest of th world.

 

 

 

 

                        

 

 

Anna Dello Russo and Lady GAGA are probably in the top ten Most Excentric Women alive list. They use their outfits in order to highlight their uniquness with their look.

 

There are quite a few people, who wear only black color, as a fashion statement, like artists, or painters, as it apparently helps to concentrate on other colors .. :S

 

 

 

 

You can own an item, which will be yours fashion statement, like 

‘I only wear PRADA bags’ 

whatever a statement behind it is…

 

 

 

I use my Jil Sander inspired beanie as my fashion statement, as a way of holding my privacy, even in a crowd, as a net keeps my private space, covering my face. I however can observe everything just as good as always.

What do you think about combining   classy/chic   skirts/dresses    with sport shoe wear? 

I personally approve it, and sometimes go quite far myself, combining Jordans (basketball shoe wear, the only sports wear that I recognize as fashionable) with a little black dress, luxury accessories and .. fur.. pictures form my last weekend, wearing an exactly described combination
